We just brought out our car and saw that the trunk was rusted very badly. We saw pieces of the trunk that were chipped off in big chunks. So we decided to vaccuum up the pieces and when we did that, we vaccuumed up the whole side of the trunk. Now we have a football size hole in the side of the trunk. Now I am afraid that the whole trunk could be this weak. Is there anything I can do? Should I weld a new liner on to the trunk? Also, what can I do for the rust holes on the side of the car?
