Made the cover of the Advance Auto Parts catalog
Yea you read it right. Its funny but the whole idea is to have tuner type cars (body kits, exhaust, intake, etc) on the cover. Maybe a few of you remember that about 5 or 6 months ago I picked up a sponsor. A few other people in my town picked up the same sponsor to. Welp come to find out, they are the "middle man" from advance to APC and all those type of companies. Advance Auto asked them get a group of people together to take a picture to be on the cover of the magazine. Welp I was one of the people selected and after the photoshoot, I looked and I was one of three domestics, and the only V8. The other two domestics were Z24 cavaliers that had a good amount of stuff done.
I saw the picture but I have to wait till May 1st before advance will start carrying them. Once they do I'll scan it and show everyone because this isn't the cover for every advance auto parts everywhere, its only on like the east coast. They are printing out over 95,000 copies of it to send out to so many stores in those states so my CAMARO Z28 just made the cover of 95,000 pieces of paper
I can't wait for it to come out....MORE SPONSORSHIPS!!!

I have tons of pictures of my car but you can't see any....because since the last picture, I've waxed it real good, put new rims/tires on, installed a few more neons just for show, and streetglow sent me a set of headlights and foglights that I have installed. But the lights busted the other day so I have to request a few more sets from them. I'm pretty close to doing a new headlights housing and everything made from fiberglass, etc. I sell PIAA and that looks like the route I'm going to be taking when I order some lights. It will be close to the aftermarket firebird lights (2 foglight looking housings that are in the bumper housing). But I head up to a car show tomorrow (saturday april 4th) and I know I'll take a few good pictures then.
As for the advance auto parts thing, its true what people say. "You was in the right place at the right time and talked to the right person the right way" lol

picking them up tomorrow and then scanning them in. boy do I need a really good digital camera. anyone know of an online store that has some killer deals?

DANG JOE DIRT, I forgot about this thread. I have the magazine with me at work. I will go home today or tomorrow and scan the cover. I'm in the back but for an import/tuner shoot, I'm glad I made the cover (only V8 domestic in the pic). besides my domestic, 2 cavaliers and a neon made it. but I'll get those up later today or tomorrow.
