I am looking for a LT1 WS6 hood that will fit the best. I am currently looking at the Harwood, Suncoast, and SLP in that order. I wanted to here the good and mainly the bad about them. It doesn't need to be working, but I do want the best quality. The SLP is a little more than I wanted to spend but if the others suck then I will go for that.

PS I need to know within today (body shop needs to get it asap)

I'm pretty sure SLP makes the best quality hood. Suncoast creation hoods dont strike me as a quality product. Buddy of mine got one and it fit horribly, finish was poor, contruction was iffy. I'd get the slp and just be done with it unless others have other personal experiences.

Has anyone heard or used a Harwood hood??

 

Heard a lot of good about the Harwood, so I bought it, plus its through Summit = fast shipping.

 

So how was the fitment and quality of the harwood hood? What did ya spend too?

oops, my bad, didn't realize you were the thread starter and taht this was only a few days old . Let me know anyways when u do get it.

 

The SLP hood is the same hood that was originally supplied to GM for the WS6 up until 97. GM outsourced the build of both the SS and WS6 to SLP, so you can be assured that the SLP will fit like OEM.
