Why are these so hard to find? Every company under the sun makes an LS1 version, but the LT1 is almost impossible to locate.

Anybody know why the companies that make one for the LS1 but not the LT1?

I want the one thats exactly like SLP's version.

 

i read in another post these hoods are no longer in production, which is alright with me because they look terrible on camaros imo

 

I know that SLP doesnt produce anymore, but ever other hood company makes a version for the LS1 but not LT1 body. I was just curious why this was the case.

I dont want an SS hood because its not an SS and I dont like any of the cowl hoods.

 

not even the sunoco cowl hoods, that thing is pure sex for f-bodies

 

Cowl hoods on FI cars make no sense to me

the only cowl i somewhat like is the harwood b/c its small. I dont like big cowls because I always feel like the person is trying to be a poseur.

IMO, no need for a huge hood on a car that MIGHT be pushing 280 rwhp.

The Standard VFN Sunoco is only 3" tall just like the harwood, You cant go wrong either way.
