LT1 T/A HID Conversion?
LT1 T/A HID Conversion?
Anyone know of where I could find one? Is there such thing around? How hard to install? Any other possible alternatives to better lighting besides silverstars? Thanks in advance!
You have to do a 4x6 inch fixture conversion first which, I'm pretty sure you can get in your rice aisle at Advanced auto, APC makes some. I got mine at www.procarparts.com . The factory set-up is a fixed bulb halogen headlight, and the switch to this seperate bulb fixture is necessary. Then you have to find out your bulb prong style, And order an hid conversion that fits, example H4, 9005, 9006 etc. I converted my headlight harnesses to third gen ones and used H4 bulbs. Trust me it's worth the work and couple hundred dollars, you'll never want to use halogen again.

Would any of this stuff work for the conversion? http://www.rallylights.com/hella/200mm.asp
Re: LT1 T/A HID Conversion?
I myself am considering going to an HID conversion but know nothing about them. I have heard good reviews on the HID kits from a headlight website out of Miami FL. I know I have seen several of these kits used by Camaro owners's on this site with extraordinary results. (At this time I cannot remember the name of that website). Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Re: LT1 T/A HID Conversion?
Does anyone have alittle more specific Info on doing the HID conversion for an LT1 Camaro. These head-lights really suck. I asked once on LS1Tech and messination responded with buying better bulbs and re-sealing the stock fixtures, but how does it work as far as allignment and all that other jazz?
