If you don't like the way the LT1 cars look maybe you should sell it and get what you really want . Instead of trying to full people into thinking you have a LS1 .

It's a matter of personal preference, I like my LT1 b/c it's paid for, I don't need no more payments for anything and I have already invested money in my motor and have a block that will be prepped this summer for my 383 stroker with some NOS
and I'm not trying to fool anyone that it's an LS1, I think the LS1 has a modern muscle car appearance. I can see that hate coming already.

Yeah, you are probably right, but since I have connections in the body shop industry and paid next to nothing for the whole job and my front end was in need of repair.....voila new front end.

I guess it's much cheaper than buying an LS1. *shrug*

Can't wait to see pics of it when it's completed.

You have the meanest looking LT1 I have ever seen.
Those wheels and the hood are the key!
Looks like you went thru a couple of hiccups to get it where it is today....congrats!

Sweet, are you doing it yourself or are you having a shop do it? My conversion was a huge PITA.
