Woohoo! I've been wanting to see this on an LT1 for quite some time. Did you get the brushed aluminum and blue bow on there?

Re: LT1 with billet and bowtie

How did you attach the bowtie to the grill? I want to do this with my Z, but I think I want to put a Z28 emblem offcentered to the right.

Re: LT1 with billet and bowtie

well when i got the bowtie it came with a mount already that was long enough to go through the grill, i just had to get some self threading nuts and washers big enough to space behind the grille sections. I think im gonna make it a bit more secure sometime soon, but im a bit busy at now with some army junk im doing. If i pull it off, which i plan to when i get out of the field, next friday ill snap some pics of the backside and post them. And by then my pro 5.0 shifter with lou's short stick should be in , hope it was worth it

Re: LT1 with billet and bowtie

I am thinking of one day doing this to my Teal 3.4. Now that I know what it looks like, I will! Thanks.
