It all bolts on..real easy. Just start ripping ur car apart and buy the 98+ replacements.

Go to my site http://www.aldersgarage.20m.com The black Camaro on my front page is a 2002. The white Camaro in the lineup is a 94. Best bet would be to contact salvage yards and have them piece it together for you. I bought a wrecked 98 SS and used all the parts off of it (it was rear ended.).

This is a very easy swap. The only thing you will have to do is put about 1/4" worth of shims on the mounts in front of the radiator support to make the bumper cover to hood gap perfect (the 98 ups have the radiator support about 1/4" farther forward.)

I did mine in about 5-6 hours and I have nearly no body experience.

I hope the only reason you're considering it is because you're bored of the look and want to blow lots of money. Most people would rather have the front end of and LT1 Camaro rather than an LS1 front end. The LT1's look more badass, and the LS1's look like giant catfish. But oh well, your money

it says in the original post that they have an insurance and want to upgrade, so i was suppose they are bored of the look of their current car, i happen to like the 98-up front ends...at first i didn't, but they have grown on me alot, but i'm suppose everyone should think just like you?

Im doing this to my 94Z... check out the pics in my sig... it took me a while to get this car to look like it does, as opposed to how it was when I bought it. I was in love with it.. but it was stolen, wrecked and abandoned... I recovered it but the front bumper is destroyed, so is the fenders and everything in front of the radiator... I was going to restore it the way it was, but why not try something different. And by the way, not only do I like the way the LS1 front end looks(and not that I like it any more or less than the LT1), but I think they look hella sweet with the xenon ground effects(well the front bumper piece at least)... change is good. I'll update my pics when Im finished.

First off, I wasn't trying to sound as negative about it all as some of you obviously thought. Seriously, I was just giving my opinion which was what I KNOW a great majority of everyone else thought as well. Second, if you ARE going to do the conversion, I recommend ditching the stock grill and definately go aftermarket with a Wings West or something, definately takes away some of that 'catfish' factor. Either way, enoy.
