ls1 to lt1 front end

I am about to buy an lt1 camaro, but it unfortunately has the 98+ front end. I want it to match, so could i make money on doing the switch back to an lt1 front end? how much work is it? are there a lot of people that could possibly want to trade? maybe plus cash? just dont know how many people would want it, and how much more it is worth than an lt1 front end. thanks for the help

I wanted to do the same thing, but shipping would probably be ridiculous.

I just don't see a huge market where you will turn a profit on the LS1 front end parts. There are plenty of wrecked LS1 donor cars out there that can provide the necessary parts for such a conversion at a reasonable cost.

You could easily find someone wanting to do the swap (hopefully the same color) and get them to do all the work and throw in maybe $300. Be a fair deal for both parties...

Make a posting on your local CraigsList saying you have a LS1 front end and are willing to trade for a LT1 front end. You should get alot of replies.

I agree with Counted Out, I think that would be the best idea maybe.

It's very nice to see someone wanting the LT1 front bumper.
