Although my engine bay is nowhere near something considered dirty.............it's nothing special either.....

Seen a stock looking LT1?

You've seen my engine.

I had it like this just to see how it looked, I got the intake from a friend and sold it, never intended to use it, this was summer '04

Old Pic

And this pic was from a few days ago, I havent touched the motor in months, it's filthy, I'll give it a good cleaning when i'm done working on it for the winter. I has never been this bad.

Current and Dirty, I'm sorry

N2oBlkz, awesome detailing !
Especially that alternator setup looks killer and that Metal elbow (stolen from a blower setup ?) is very attractive ... Are those sold seperately ??

Also looks like the wheelwells are painted in Matte black, maybe that's just my imagination but it looks great.

Keep it up !

Thanks for the compliments, the elbow is a polished Vortech that you can buy seperate. I haven't painted the black on the engine bay, just lots of cleaning.

Your welcome !
Noticed you have that MBA alternator kit with that proper fan and pulley on there, do you reckon the MBA covers on the powersteering, A/C, crank, and tensioner are also worthwhile or are they to hard to see in real life ????

I do think they are killer when seen on an engine block from the front but apart from the alt the other accs are to hard to see probably ...

Yeah, I have seen them also. I think that they would look really nice since I have my alternator bracket ceramic coated. I may eventually get some from another company that I found. They are quite a bit cheaper and look really nice. I have just been holding off on the "look good" stuff and trying to focus on my blower buildup.

What other company ??
MBA is indeed rather expensive with their products.
