LS1 fuel rail covers

Does anyone know where I can get fuel rail covers for my 99 LS1 Z28 ? All I have found so far are the ones made for Corvettes and I don't want ones that say Corvette on them. Camaro,Z28,LS1,even if it was plain...any of these would be ok.Thanks for any advice you can give.

Those are way too expensive. Just buy plain black corvette ones and fill in the corvette letters with some filler, sand smooth, then paint. Thats what I'm doing should cost about $70 for the whole thing, paint, decals, etc... I got the FRC's new for $50

This might help...www.gmpartsdirect.com I know the shipping is high but the price I got from them came to around $52.00 with shipping.Just remember that you're searching for Corvette fuel rail covers, not Camaro.I have some friends in the parts dept of my local Chevy dealer who will sell them to me for the same price without the wait. You will still have to trim them to fit and change the "Corvette" on the covers but it's hard to beat the price.Good luck

Oh oops.... Kinda steered you guys the wrong way. I got them from a board member for $50 new. The cheapest I've ever seen them around is about $80 for a pair.

Sorry

WOW!!! Sorry about that, they must've really had a price increase since last Jan.The price I got from them back then was $18.81 each and $13.20 total for shipping, that's only a total of $50.82 so that's some honking price increase. My buds at the Chevy dealer let me have them for $52.66 and no tax.I guess I should drop them off a six pack of their favorite!

Here's an update for you, 99clothtopz28.Go back to gm parts direct site and try these part numbers.12559261 and 12556455.These are left and right fuel rail covers in black.I think you'll find them a whole lot cheaper just because of the color, and if you're going to customize them you'll be painting them anyway.Let me know how you make out.Good luck

And this is one that I made for a friend in Texas. I also have a matching lid. I have to finish the outline on the bottom flame part as you can see in the pic

They should but you may need to trim them as alot of people have. I seem to be the only one that didnt need to trim mine. The 97-98 Vette covers have the two fuel line cut outs and thats why they will work on our cars. Like I said you may just need to trim parts of the back off and around the throttle bracket on the passenger side.
