I Like the LT1 Bodystyle and have since it came out. Its JMO. But i must say that the LS1 Trans Ams look much much better than the LT1 versions. I found a red one for sale (WS6) about a week after i bought my 94 Z...DAM* IT!!!!!

Having looked at the front of my lt1 for the last 10 years, I'm ready for the ls1 front end look and have all the parts to do mine as well. I would suggest you paint the hood scoop black and have it wide at the top and very narrow at the bottom but not touching the bumper.

Also, having sunk as much as I have into this car, it's a lot cheaper to update the front end than it is to get a ls1 car and take a whopping loss only to buy all the same crap again for a LS1

Stock for stock, the LS1 front end slightly edges out the LT1 because the headlights flow with the lines of the car. The stock LT1 headlights make an otherwise sleek and aggressive front facia look dated. Now, if you even the score and give the LT1 front end a round set of headlights, well...

Having had both cars at the same time I can tell you that although I love my LS1 , I have never liked the front ends. Yeah there are alot of options and the lights are waaaaay easier and getting to the ambers to change over to clears is much much better...I still like the look of the LT1 front end. Actually for me the 2 big down sides of the LS1 front are

*where the fog lamps are located
*and the wide catfish mouth opening.....arrrgh

LS1 headlights look like a Chrysler Sebring... no thanks, Ill take my boxy LT1 front end any day, looks more aggressive. Although I do like what I have seen with some LS1 front clips, you can do more with them than you can an LT1 front clip.

I'm probobly the only guy who wants to convert from an LS1 to an LT1 body/motor.

I tried to buy several black on black LT1's but they all wanted too much $ and were ragged out. I paid 9k for a black on black, t-tops, 6 speed, premium sound, etcccccccccccc

One guy wanted 10k for a 95 black on black M6 non T-tops, ragged out, 1500 in cosmetic damage..... So, here I am...Everytime I see an LT1 drive by I'm jealous Then I remind myself I paid less for a newer car with more power.

Folks are so hell bent on getting all that money for an 11yr old car they can keep the god dam* thing.

Well I'm going to have a polo green lt-1 front end available in the next few weeks for anyone wanting to take their ls1 car to lt1 look...
