has anyone been able to use the 98+ ls1 ws6 ram air box on the 93-97 lt1 trans am with a oem style ram air hood?

i see the ls1 ram air box on e-bay all the time and never the factory ram air box for the lt1. yet i can get a fuctional ram air hood for my 96 lt1 t/a aftermaket of course.

 

Someone did it before, but then you would have to have an LS1 Style Hood - meaning you would have to do a whole LS1 Front end conversion, and still mod the air box.

It's not worth it.
