Do any of you have the engine covers that were made for the LS1. like the ones that say corvette on them. I got a set but I dont want to paint them till I know that they will fit on my car. any help would be great and pictures would help a lot too. thanks a lot

you will need the style with two slits on the driver's side for the fuel lines. if you dont have both cuts you will need to make the second one yourself. i also had to enlarge them a bit to make them fit. i also had to cut off part of the back of the passanger side for the pcm wires to fit in. some people end up cutting the back of the driver side as well (for the AIR?) you need to remove the throttle cable bracket near the rear of the driver side frc. you also need to cut a spot for the oil dipstick, i made some room for the trans dipstick, and you need to cut a spot for the throttle cable bracket just behind the tb. its quite a bit of work, but they look nice once installed. i also filled the vette lettering and painted them.
