Cool Lowered car - looks tite but back tire rubs

I dropped the car 2". It looks really good.

However, when I've got 3+ people in the car, the back right wheel rubs on every bump. It's the outer edge hitting the fender.

What can be done to correct this?

Here's some pics:

Purchase an adjustable panhard rod. That will allow you to center the rear end, solving your problem.

BTW, nice looking car!

, I have yet to ride with 4 people in the car. Only been a passenger and a person on the back right.

If I have four people in the car and both back wheels rub, what can be done then??

Ask the people in the back to get out! Seriously though, this is a common problem with lowered cars, one side of the rear being shifted to one side or the other. An adjustable phr solves this.

I just noticed that you are in the Seattle area as well. Where abouts?

Looks like I'll be getting the adjustable PHR.

to answer the flood of questions:

I just noticed that you are in the Seattle area as well. Where abouts?
I'm in Kirkland actually, right off of exit 22 on I-405.
What kind of f-body you drive? Perhaps I've seen you around.

I got those wheels because I had little money but had a account at Les Schwab and there were basically only four different wheels they had that fit my car. I mainly got these because I didn't have to get new tires, I kept the stock 275/40/17s. Besides, I think they look awesome. Slight negative offset and I don't have to fear every pothole like you 20" rollers.
was it you who posted a while back about which rims to get? I remember someone on here posted some rims like that and another set.
Yep, that was me. Seems like so long ago now.

The springs are Spring Tech. Got them from ebay (see my auction) for a damn good price of $130 shipped.

The wheels are 17x8.5 or 17x9, can't remember which. I got them at my local Les Schwab dealer. They're the Cobra R replicas.

I know what the problem is........your wheels!! they belong on a mustang, your car is tring to tell you to get rid of them. I'd listen before she takes drastic measures to let you know she doesnt like em... very bad things will happen.

i dunno, that cars hot but i think it looked better before the lowering, wheels r too close to the fender well...but i've always like the look of a higher stance muscle car then inches from the ground car...just me tho still hot as hell tho, nice job

my wheels rubbed when i frst got them. mine wasnt anything to do with the centering of the rear. just bend the lip up inside where the fender rolls under to the wheel well. thats what i did and problem gone. not before it put a big slice in my tire though.
