Lower Springs. Which one should I get?

I need to know the good name brands for lowering springs and the good prices to match. I am purchasing some as soon as I get enough info from you guys. I want to install this weekend.

I have the G2 springs....love 'em....even all around, and it dropped more than the pro kit and less than the sportline.

If you want best ride/overall etc....i recommend getting shocks and springs.......i didn't have enough for shocks at the time, maybe this coming year.

There are tons of makes out there........DMS (ask JasonD), Hypercoil, Hotchkiss (wouldn't get either one of these two), eiback (prokit yes, sportline drops too much IMO), G2 (what I have) and SLP Eibach (1" all around).

Good luck with your decision.

I have the goldline springs. I like the drop and how they feel in curves. I used to have the prokits on my other car. I still think I liked the prokits better then these, even though it is some of the same guys that founded eibach (From what I've heard). Still not a bad buy at $150.

I think I may get the eibachs, but what do I have to look for afterwards as far as problems? Do I need to change anything else or adjust? I will change my shocks to Billstein, but not right now.

I have the Eibach Prokit with Bilstein shocks. And it dropped it the 1.25"-1.5" and it handles very well. But i'm sure my other suspension mods contribute to that too. Just make sure and get an alignment afterwards. Overall i'm very happy with my setup though, car sticks to the road.

I have lowering springs by Jamex. I have been quite happy with them and really like the look of the car with them. The price was great too. I got them through...

GTR Performance

GTR is a Mustang shop in SoCal. They had a special run of Jamex suspension products for 'stangs and f-bodies and have a few of the springs sets and stb's left. I got a super deal on both from them and was able to pick them up to avoid shipping costs.

Check out my sig for pics.

I don't think you can go wrong getting DMS springs for $155. If you want to go with Eibach, then Sportlines and Pro Kit are your offerings. Check out my pics for Sportline pictures. Just avoid big speedbumps.

pro-kit

There the most common and effective. Anything lower your gonna hate. Your gonna be scrapin everwhere, because soon your gonna want longtubes and y-pipe. The two don't go together very well. SLP has a great set-up that lowers the car 1 inch and has great shocks and struts.

Good Luck

Even if you have made up your mind Im thoughing in my oppinion for anyone else that reads the thread. I would like to say BMR springs are great. I got them at intro price and absolutly LOVE them. You can check my sig for pics if you want. About a 1.5 drop. Just thought I would mention them since no one really has them yet. Got to get the word out. I like how they are powder coated red, adds a little color to the underbody.
