Looking for Pictures
Looking for Pictures
Buddy of mine has a 95' z convertable. It's factory green..I forget the exact color name...he's debating putting some stripes on it. I was wondering is anyone has pictures of a 93-97 camaro with silver or black stripes? Or any other color for that matter as well.....
Re: Looking for Pictures
Black wont look good at all. i think they wont show up much and if they do they wont look good. I think of any colour silver would look awesome. Ive seen pics of a green z28 with silver hockeys stripes and it looked great. White would look too fake and plasticky and a bit too much contrast.
Re: Looking for Pictures
OK i found the pics on my comp so i jsut hosted them instead of trying to find them on the net...i know they arent the stripes you are looking for but hopefully they help

I must agree, I like the silver on green better than white or black.

I'd love to see how they came out? Maybe you could snap a pic sometime and send it over. Thanks...

The paint was purchased, used and it is an exact match. I guess they must have diffrent names for the same color green depends where you look.

This was discussed with Scott Settlemire this weekend.
I also called one of the local paint shops to find out & they do alot of the Chevy work around here. (they have done my husbands car & our 00 GTP) the owner also said that the only green Made for the CAMAROS that year was Polo green.

I just don't know what to make of this but everywhere I look I keep finding the same thing. I guess GM must have painted one different that year and I got it cause the color code I used came right off all my ID plates, including the one inside the glove box. I even used the vin as a cross. Maybe GM calls it polo green and every other place has it as yellow green metallic. Whatever it is, I guess it doesn't matter anymore since the paint I bought matched my factory color perfectly.
