Rk sport used to sell a guage panel that would go in the hole on the console of 93-96 camaros where you store cds and such. They no longer carry it. Does anyone know where I can purchase one?

 

No one makes them anymore. Only a few ways to get one:

1. Get lucky and find one on ebay

2. Get lucky and find someone on this board or another board who has one for sale.

3. Either fab one yourself or have someone else to fab one.

I got lucky and bought one before rk sport stopped making them.

I have a Carbon Fiber panel over the tape slot compartment in my 94 Z that has 2 Autometer gauges and 2 switches on it. I can make you one but it'll be made out of high grade materials used for Indy cars so it'll cost ya. I also have a spare one layin around that was my first attempt at a console panel..it actually fits inside the lip of the opening while my new one is screwed to the front....I'll sell the new style ones for $50 shipped if yourself or anyone is interested in having one..it will come precut to fit to gauges. I made one out of lightweight steel. If the demand was there, i will fab up a few more and sell them for the cost of the materials and a small compensation for the time it takes to make them . I drilled mine for two autometer 2 1/16 gauges and then bought a set of SS eblems and put it underneath, it looks really sharp. They are a little harder to make than they appear. The hardest things to do is to get the angles right b/c the tape hole is not a perfect square, actually far from it. The next, and perhaps hardest thing to do is to make mounting brackets to hold the plate into the hole. After i made mine and installed it i thought of the idea to use hinges on one side, that would only require the fabrication of the hard bends and special cuts it takes to make the mounts. But if anyone is interested, ill try to get a few pics and make them if enough people are interested. They could be custom painted (i opted for mine to be black), or layed with carbon fiber.

 

that sounds a little complicated for such a simple deal...mine is as simple as drilling and putting in screws...which i will include....
If i can get 10 people that want to buy the CF console panels for 93-97 camaros...I will make a bunch at once and will sell them for $20/each

 

or if anyone is interested in one made of fiberglass, i can do those for $15/each right now...they can be easily scuffed and painted..

Sorry buddy, but ifyou are going to sell things here for money, you are going to have to become a paying advertiser like everyone else. One or two would be fine but more than that or taking orders is another story.
