Hey guys,
Yup that's my car.
It's actually the bone stock color but obviously the aftermarket hood isn't the factory paint so there might be slight variations in the blend that the company used when they painted my hood and then blended the paint on the fenders and what not. Honestly the paint annoys me with how it looks in the camera. Like in that pic, it has red and it almost looks a hair pink. Yet in the shade it can look really dark...
Comparison with the Hugger Orange Camaro convertible concept:

And the red in dark shade (my favorite pic, not just because of the girl but for how the paint looks)..

And direct sunlight:

Sorry, I don't mean to ***** my car, just showing how much the paint can look different depending on the light and angle. Every pic [including the Motortopia picture] was taken with the same camera.

take my advice, the color you choose is a very important decision, take months to think about it!!!! take your time. I painted mine corvette yellow because that is such a rare color for a camaro and I still like it but I kind of wish I would have left it the factory green and saved the money or gone with jet black like the bat mobile or something metalic. But I only spent $1200 on the job ay macco, I may have it done again in a few years.
Look at all the new colors that ford has just come out with.
Some unique Colors you might want to consider
Pearl white
metalic orange
Gunmetal silver
that new mustang orange
Corvette yellow
metalic green
personally i would not do red/black, it has been overdone and it clashes too much, with all stuff available i would do something gunmetal grey paint with dark grey/black interior.

I like pearl white, but i live in nebraska.. so to keep it looking nice i'de have to wash it everyday. I've thought about it, and looking for something that isn't goin to cost so much. Burnt orange metallic is what i was thinking.. but dont know how a orange / black interior would look.. then i just thought of going with a jet black / carbon fiber gray(race stripes).. still got a while before i paint it.. Have a whole list of modifications i want to get for my car.. so i imagine (i hope) by the time i have the list done that i will have made up my mind for the paint..
Most recently i've been clashing with the 2 paints above and a red jewel metallic(2010 camaro paint)

I think a lot of people have misconceptions about how quickly white gets dirty. I have my 30th anniversary Z-28, and it stays looking clean for a long, long time between washes. Even when it's really dirty, it still looks presentably clean from a few feet away. With my '93, that dark metallic blue looks filthy if it just gets a little bit of dust on it.
The majority of the cost of a paint job is in labor, not materials. The exception to that rule is if you go with some super-exotic paint that changes a million different colors or whatever, but ~75% of a paintjob's cost is in the labor unless it's some crapola job from Maaco.
It really depends what color orange you use for your interior. I have a white/orange interior, and it looks amazing. If you were to replace the white in my interior with black, it'd still look awesome. Of course, it wouldn't match with the white, but it certainly would if the car was black or orange.
You want to talk about having to wash it every day to keep it looking nice, that's what you're going to have to do with any dark color, and especially black. Black cars can look great, but it's one of the most difficult colors to keep looking good. Just keeping it clean in general is a laborious task, but black is also really bad about showing swirl marks.
