limited edition "Last of the breed" Badging

what do you guys think of this?

Last of the breed Badging

I just ordered this and thought it was really cool, comes with the certicate, firebird FOB, and 2 last of the breed badges.

My question is would you put this on your car if you had a black 02 TA? now it will match my color scheme i'm going with which is red on a black TA. Your thoughts

-Thanks in adv.

If you don't mind putting stuff on your car...I think they would look very nice. Pretty neat concept, but expensive...I couldn't help but laugh at the "5 year / 60,000 Mile Parts Warranty" statement though...what are they gonna do? Quit running? LOL...I like them though.

well the great thing is I got it for only $40 on eBay from the same sellers, and non opened so that’s the only reason why I got it.
Ya I laughed at the parts and warranty too. I guess if the badges fall off or get ruined they replace them, which is kind of cool. As far as putting stuff on my car I’m kind of worried about it yes. What if it takes the paint off when I do decided to take them off? I will first tape them on to see what it looks like, if I don't like them I’ll put 1 inside on the dash or something.

the Trans Am started in 69 i believe. hince the 30th T/A was in 1999, the 25th in 1994, etc. etc.

however, the Firebird did start in 67 along with the camaro

opps, sorry i did mean firebird, my bad.
your right red95bird.

The confussions in the 2 names. Firebird is the parent name, says that on the VIN #. Trans Am is like a package like WS6 is. So thats why there is a 35th ann. "Firebird" enhanced with the Trans Am & WS6 package.

your thoughts?

Now I think that would look nice! I am one of the ones who would prefer debadging as well (hence my comment "if you don't mind putting stuff on your car"), but either way you go, I think they are nice emblems...

Agreed...easily confused naming...it still throws me off when I hear someone call a 4th Gen T/A a Firebird, because they have become so dominant by themselves, but the fact is I guess that it really is a Firebird...just a package. Similar to the Z28. I still long to find a '69 T/A in good condition, that would be nice...

there is one on ebay right now (dunno if the auction has already ended?) anyway, it was demanding a pretty penny

I have some LOB badges on my car, and I think they look nice. It is funny when you are sitting at a light and people next to you are trying to read them. I had one guy roll down his window and stick his head out to read it once. It really catches people's eyes.

the LOB package comes with instructions of where it should be placed on your vehicle. i think it has them near the vents in the fenders. personally though, if i had a bird and put these on it, they would be put on the roof panel right behind the door windows.
