Can anyone think of a car that has control **** that light up. I'm talking about our Climate control and headlight switch. This always annoyed me that you can't see where teh pointer is.

Has anyone tried a UV LED mounted into the bezel to illuminate the white strip thats on the ****, i am considering this route.

 

Do a search for this. someone has tried somthing like this before. the thing you cna do is get the 4th gen **** and rip the rubber off of them and dye them any color you want. the thing is the 4th gen (97+ style dash) has provisions for lighted **** in th dash and built into the climate control center. the cars made previous dont have the lights there. guys usually mount leds that are semi directional onto the **** or try making it go behind the clear ****. I just want to keep them black and maybe accent the dash with a couple strategically placed led's

 

thats odd, i dont rememebr my 99 lighting up but its been almost 4 years since i sold it
