license plate frame

can anyone tell me how to get rid of that ugly A$$ license plate frame in the front? there appears to be 3 rivets... do I have to drill them out? or is there another way? I know there will probably be 3 holes there if I do, but its better than having an ugly licnese plate in the front... I know, its California = illegal without front plate = BLAH! can I do it without drilling out the rivets?

thanks

ok, well I didn't wait for anyone to reply, I just drilled them off... looks like they were regular rivets... I wouldn't mind getting a nice chrome grille... any suggestions? pics? chrome or other nice ones..

how do I take the grille off anyway?

Those are a great price for those corners But I saw a auction last week that a company had the set of front and rear side markers for sale for 50 bucks that way you'll get both at the same time

and the grille I think that a Black billet grille would look sweet on your silver maro But if your set on a regular Billet grille on ebay every now and then there is a guy that sells billet grilles that have more bars than the pic you post and is on like 76 bucks shipped My friend got one on his black SS and he loves it looks sweet as hell too

You can also get clear lights here too

Yeah, not a bad price on those corners. Also, because your car is silver, I think a black or maybe even gunmetal grill would look much better than chrome.

I was looking at the front end after I took the plate frame off and I was thinking of going with a silver solid grille to match my paint.. but the gunmetal and black grilles would look good too.

hmmm... decisions decisions

what do you guys think of a solid silver with a nice red SS in the middle?

a black bilet grille would look nice too... hmmm

By solid, do you mean no openings at all? Because I think that's a bad idea...If you do that, virtually the only airflow into the engine is your hood scoop, which would be bad for getting cold air into your engine bay to cool it down.

By chrome bulbs, he means the bulbs that are painted chrome but still function normally as whatever color they are supposed to be.
