Let me see your LT1 fuel rail covers.

I have a brand new set of LT1 fuel rail covers that i was more or less given and i really didn't have much interest in putting them on. Then yesterday i was messing around and just kind of set them into place and i think they look pretty dang good on there. I was just wanting to see what some of you guys have done, and get some ideas. Does pretty much everyone fill in the Corvette part? If not do most people just put in some Corvette vinyl decals? What have you guys got? I'd like to see them. Oh and if anyone has some that is running a Ram Air setup i'd really like to see them.

Those look pretty good. Did you paint the Corvette letters in or did you get vinyl decals? Also i have the mounting studs but i've heard you need an adaptor or something to moves some lines out of the way on the drivers side. Did you have any problems with lines on the drivers side? Thanks

The Corvette letters are stamped into the plastic. To get rid of them you have to fill them in. You can do Camaro or whatever decals after that. Here are mine, obviously they are not for an F-Body or Y-Body but maybe it will give you some ideas.

Yeah i know you have to fill in the Corvette if you don't want to see it. I can't decide for sure if i would fill them in or not. Either way your Covers look extremely nice. You hardly cut yours up at all. Where did you get the ElCamino thing? That gives me an Idea. I might try putting an Old school Z28 emblems on mine.

Thanks. I painted them black, then I used Testors model paint (that has held up quite well) for the Corvette part, then sprayed them with clear coat of some kind. I didn't use the studs cuz they don't let the covers clear all the wires and crap. I used a way long hose from the brake booster to the intake.

Thanks for your reply. How sturdy are the covers with out the studs? I don't want them to bounce around and crack because they aren't held good enough. So besides the covers and maybe studs, i don't need anything special to put them on?

The Elky emblems are for a 66 or 67 El Camino that I cut a portion off and had the emblems painted with an aerospace paint that is not suppose to chip off etc. I'll see if it holds up or not. I got them from one of the many restoration places that are out there. Can't remember who just looked for the best price on them.

Those are all pretty nice, lets see pics when you are done z95m6. Wish I had some extra cash laying around for those. Where do you guys get those black ones with Camaro and Z28 on them?
