Got these wheels and the tires for free -- was wondering what the opinion was of these in place of the stockers. Better, worse, or same?
Thanks for any and all feedback!
NOTE: Mods move if necessary... I know there is a wheels and tires forum, but this concerns appearance only (plus I felt like I'd get more views here).

Are you happy with them? I picked up a set of mint condition SS 10-spokes a few months back. Although I'm sure they are not the wheel of choice for some, I like them and I feel they are an upgrade over the beat up "fat spokes" that are on my car right now.

They def look better than stock. I have the same wheels on my 93, only in chrome. I love them. I paid a board member $350 for them with damn good tires. If they were available in that exact same form in a 17", i would have them. Pics of my car are in my sig. Pics with the wheels are on the last page. I like the upgrade man. Snowflakes for the cheapo win!

I've decided I'm happy with them over the stockers. Seeing them at night made me appreciate them more as well. The change is pretty subtle IMO, but the center Chevy bowtie, and the whole centerpiece area in general looks better. The lug nut caps are a little too light colored though IMO....possibly considering black paint... Or, even leaving them off -- the set of lugs underneath is new, and it actually looked pretty decent since the way the center cap is mounted -- unlike the stockers, removing the plastic lug covers isn't bad looking. Actually looks like it was made to keep that option available -- if I had a nice set of lugs, they would be off.....then again, I'd rather not have them stolen.
For now - it's an improvement. Nice wheels are something I have always wanted...but can't afford. Until I can get something nicer looking, this will do. They're clean at least! (look inside the wheels on the second to last pic posted).
The polls seem to reveal a no win, no lose situation so far -- which is what I was expecting. I'm just happy the majority of opinions isn't negative because I think I'll keep them for a while.

Too bad it isn't mine. My cousin's son owns it. Has its own movie theater room inside. 100 inch screen and 8 reclining chairs (4 in each of 2 rows) with cup holders.
And a pool table in the room just outside the movie room with a full length bar and a 42 inch plasma TV.
Yep, it's a nice place to visit and I couldn't resist using the palace as a background for the Z-28.

I agree, I was never a big fan of them at first, until I saw a mint condition set in person, they looked pretty good. I had to buy them.

one of the coolest setups ive ever seen that i didnt ever think of or picture would look good, was a 97 T/A, black with factory 10 spoke SS wheels. they were chrome 17x9.5s. ill try to get a pic, i loved it.
