Last N/A burnout pics

Here's some last burnout pictures taken of my Z, N/A. In about 2 weeks, it will be supercharged. (still waiting on final touches of the motor, and then a dyno tune)

Re: Last N/A burnout pics

Thanks. After rubbing off all the rubber in the rear fenders and bumper, I had a small pile of Nitto on the ground. Not to metion the lines on the street.

Very nice... so how do those Nittos measure up to your 383? I know they aren't the best drag radial for traction, but do they at least keep the car straight?

Re: Last N/A burnout pics

Actually, even though many others on this board have little positive to say towards the Nitto's, I swear by them. Granted my car also has pretty much the whole BMR/Hotckiss/QA1 catologs under the car, but believe it or not, unless I try, I didn't have too many traction problems. On a normal day, I could open up full throttle in 1st gear, and it wouldn't break loose! I would get a loud chirp into 2nd, and sometimes a light one into 3rd, but my car hooked up great! I was releasing the clutch at the track with slicks at 5300 RPM before I could finally get them to spin, and not bogg. (At which my 17X9.5 front wheels were lifted about 2 inches off the ground) Thats another reason I decided to go with some more power, since I had pretty good traction. Long story short, I like the Nitto's.
