The thing that interested me is how high the doors go. It was previously speculated on this board that it would be hard to get in/out. From the pictures it actually looks easier. Now close parking spots might be bad.

Re: Lambo Kit Actually Works On Our Cars

actually, I think the lambo doors are neat on the fbods.. the 4th gens long sleek doors look at home swung open like that... just like in the original concept car for the 4th gens that GM made!

now the rest of the car, well, as what badapplez28 said, at least he's done something different!

I think I am gonna shave my doors...
You know, the whole thing.
Just take them off and leave them off - just to see how it looks. It would be awesome weight reduction - our doors are UBER heavy. The ricers would catch on like crazy.

When you see people shaving their entire doors from their cars in a year - note to yourself that on this day, 94BlackBowtie was the originator with that logic (the Jeep doesn't count...it's a totally different setup and style).

Thats the truth...

What I find funny is he spent so much on pint wheels tires, etc... Then he put on fecking autozone seatcovers? Think he has NOS floormats too?

btw...

Re: Lambo Kit Actually Works On Our Cars

Like some of the other guys said... it's nice to see someone try something that typically isn't done to a certain type of car. Although I don't really car to the paint scheme and all, the door's are nice

I wouldn't pay the prices that people are paying these days to do that conversion but if I was able to have a quality kit that was professionally installed for a dirt cheap price (i.e $$500 - 750) then I would consider it. The attention it would draw at car show's would be nice.

i too would take the 500 horse, but its a different crowd..

to some the work he puts into making the car look the way it does is appealing, others like me its more about under the hood and keeping it simple, which is why i tend to like factory GM parts better than any other aftermarket.

but their are different crowds looking for different things, just hope your in the same type of crowd

Re: Lambo Kit Actually Works On Our Cars

I guess the guys who design the actual Lamborghini must be idiots since everyone thinks this guy's doors are disgusting .

I personally like it. I would stick them on my Black Trans-Am in a heartbeat if I could afford it.

I would like a set that has the option to open the normal way and also the lambo way, not because of looks but because how much if a pain in the @$$ these cars can be to get out of in a tight parking space.

I also think it would go with the look of the LT1 Ram-Air Trans-Am. It would have the bird's beek (hood) and wings (doors) .

Re: Lambo Kit Actually Works On Our Cars

I'll give him credit for NOT putting all that stuff into a Civic or Cavalier---
I do like the seats and some elements of the interior, though three TV screens is three screens too many, IMHO.

Agreed about page three. Dont go there.
