Lambo Doors?

I have a 93 Z28 Camaro, and I want to shave the door handels, and locks. Thats not a problem because my friend did it to his Ranger and he took the same body classes as me, but I want to change the doors to lambo doors....good idea or would it look stupid?
Thanks

Do a search most everyone will tell you shaving your doors doesn't work on a 4th gen.

Since our doors are of a plastic/poly composite, its hard to get it done without warping/waves or seams start to show.....

People have tried, but the finished look is not perfect.......

As for Lambo doors, search this section, ther are a few threads on this subject with pictures.....

The door skins and most of the front end of the 4th gens are SMC(Sheet Molded Composit) which is a fiber reinforced plastic much like Fiberglass. So anyone with experience in fiberglass repair should have no problems doing this. The only "trick" is making sure you have the correct resin and bonding agent for this type of plastic.
How it looks is very personal and subjective. Only you can deside that!

the expansion rate of the SMC is different from the things used to patch them, accordingly depending on the temperature etc the patches will show. Your best bet is to build a new door skin.

Nope i knew the reason but its not my job to fill a person in on every bit of information especially when its been discussed on here many times. My body man has explained to me before the different expansion rates of materials and its effect on the paint job. I told him there was a possible problem so he could use the SEARCH function and see input by people who have tried it, like CamaroCasanova. People need to learn to hit the search button.

No way it is perfect, the expansion/contraction rates between whatever materials you use will not allow for it. I would be willing to put money on it if you put that car out in the sun for a while, you will be able to see the movement of the materials underneath the paint. The pics on his site say nothing to me. If I had the cash I would take the trip back there to stomp him at a show anyhow.

In my personal opinion lambos look pretty silly on a camaro, on a LS1 Firebird they can look decent...but to me it still looks kinda funny to see doors meant for a super car on a 20k dollar fbody.
