are they imports though GM made them here slapped them on the Camaro bound for Japan and then they get sent back here? also they were sold on Camaros in England too..so is it a European import?? lol

and yes they are getting "rare" as GM has no more in stock and you gotta buy them used..and getting them from importers cost so much too...
ohh well..
Lie I said before I got them when they were just getting the Altezza looks for the Camaros and such and they cost a little more than the altezzas but at least they stand the "trends" ofwhats cool..this is just a factory part thats limited in avalibility
to each his own..not bashing the altezza guys some are nice..some make your car look like rice..( with the ricer mods of course ie: NOTHING else)

So I'm curious...why do other countries have to have such a large blinker area? It seems like the brakelight area would be the most important. I would rather have more red lighting up when I hit the brakes, than orange flashing when I'm trying to get over.

I do like the idea of those little side marker lights placed about where the Z28 emblems are. I hate when I'm trying to get over on a 6 lane interstate and I'm not sure if the person in the other lane is about to move over as well. Having something directly on the side of the car flashing is a nice safety measure. Works even better when people actually USE their blinkers!

That's ridiculous. And like Tair said, only fellow Camaro owners would even notice. Not worth it, imo.

not true..actually the three years I went to the summer nationals with them her in MA. I had one guy come up to me and ask what year car I had cus he didnt recognize the tail lights he was asking well its got the new Z28 rims but the old LT1 nose is it a 93?? hes got an AMC rambler and just saw it being diffrent..

one kid thought it was a pace car edition being the amber as the yellow blinkers. That kinda sounds possible to me.

and one time I had it lined up in a row with about 7 diffrent camaros all 4th gens 93- 2000 at the time, and they had no idea what lights I had except for a kid with an 87 T/A that walked by he siad hey you got export lights.
It is a curiosity thing and I like it..makes my car stand out a little, and at the time I had the $$$ to splurge..are they overpriced YES..just like any other "diffrent" thing for cars like original Shelby stuff, COPO stuff and so on....would I sell them for what the guy on EBAY is..if I could get it why not?? if someone wanted to buy them for $800 I would be the fool not to sell...
but I have them I like them alot and it is alot diffrent than anyone around with taillights of any sort..
I want to pick up another pair though but for the price..not possible now..grrr..ohh well

Like what other people said.. too much amber for me. Maybe if you had other amber accents to match

I also like the 93-97 style much more. Red and white. Nice and simple. All the 93-97 Camaro owners around hear put in the 98+ style and I hate it. (and by all the Camaro owners around here.. I mean all 2 of them)

...And then, all of a sudden, out of nowhere, Billy got rearended and his $850 taillights that weren't covered by insurance got busted!

or how about...

...And then, while Billy was inside Wal-Mart, the guys who didn't like him thought they would play a little round of Golf with Billy's taillights!

or even...

...And then, when the proctologist entered the room, and asked Billy why he felt so butt-raped, Billy went on to explain...

Man, I am feeling creative this morning.
