what is the difference and which kyb would be the best to go for performance cars?

Adjustable shocks are better and pricier. For performance you want a stiff ride and depending what kind of performance varies. If you just want to go down the track race people here and there and maintain comfort go with the KYB AGX Adj Shocks, which leads to better ride quality. The disadvantage to those type is you have to know how to play with them correctly. Other types like the one before does not allow you to control the bounce in your vehicle, once they're in you dont have the ability to master a flawless comfort.
