OK, I got ran off the road by a semi-truck and hit a concreit barrier and screwed up my left front and left rear of my car which is a 94 Z28... I live in Chandler Arizona, Does anyone here know of a good body shop that can repair and paint my car correctly? Any help would be appreciated.. How much will a insurance pay for a 94 Z28 with 89,000 miles on it? I ask just to see if you guys think they will total my car...It probably needs 3,000 to fix it back to normal....

That's really weak man, I totalled a 94 Z28 back in my aggressive driving high school days. It had 100k miles on it, insurance gave me 8500 for it. Not sure how much they have gone down in value since then, this was in 1999.

 

just curious how'd it happen? and did the driver stop? sucks though to hear what happened

 

i totaled my car back in janurary
insuranced gave me $7,200
but i had a $500 deductible so i got $6700

 

When I had my first wreck it did 3500 dollars worth of damage to it they didn't total mine out?

 

i just got in a rek, i was hit in the rear. the other driver was going 35 and my car was stopped. it looked pretty bad but not totalled, i woulda guessed maybe 4k to fix. turned out to be 10k

 

Did anyone here who wrecked their car have any issues with the way it drove and felt after repairs? I hope if it gets fixed that it still handles the same. What should I expect when i get it back.

 

most insurance companies total it out if the damage exceeds 50-60% of the cars worth.

 

Yea it should drive fine as long as who ever is fixing it fixes it right

 

Nows the time to get the insurance company to give you a check and get the parts from a junkyard and pocket some change. And time then for some mods

 

It will never be the same.

 

If your car has some frame damage, then it might never be the same...but if it's all body panel stuff...then you probably won't ever notice the difference...shoot...it'll probably look better after repair than before. The key is in the frame.

 

They just totaled it yesterday...Now what do i do???
