JC Whitney cross/slotted rotors

Hello folks, I just installed a pair of jc whitney drilled and slotted rotors on my 94 Z. I'll give you an update in about a month about how they are holding up. They look good. They are slightly thicker than the stock rotors. I'll hold off on any recommendations until I get more braking time in , but they were a bargain ($60.95 a piece). I don't know if that's a good thing or not. Here are some pics

first impressions

I just completed a trip from orange county to sacramento on the new rotors. The steering wheel vibration when coming to a stop is completely gone, and the braking seems improved over the stocks. I should advise you folks that I use my z as a daily driver and never autoX or drag, so obviously they will not encounter the abuse you racers can dish out. My only concern when buying rotors that were this inexpensive was that they would crack, but so far they seem to be a good upgrade from the stock rotors. I'll let you know in about a months time, but my first impressions are that these babies are a steal.

So what are your thoughts on the rotors after a month and do you have new pics? Any rust yet?

Talking

I'm about to buy the same rotors for my 94. Question: Did you install new pads or did you use your old ones?
Thanks,
Fred

lol, not everybody. When ya run what I do on an NHRA certified track (Memphis Motorsports) you really don't even need brakes to make the return road.

Are those just for the front? Or are they for the rear too?
