Paint vs Powdercoating

I would say it is probably paint. Notice one of the pics is the rubber to metal A/C line. You need to heat powder coating up to 350* for 20 to 30 minutes and the rubber on that hose wouldn't stand up too good. Also I do all most all of the powder coating for the club that pu12en12g and I are in and thats not my work. Looks good PT.

My guess is he painted it with that Metallicoat stuff. its basically a fake anodizing spray paint. kinda like a coloured clearcoat

Very nice!!! Has nobody noticed it looks like chameleon paint? If it is he's the man!!! I'm sure it's got to be heat resistant, I had to use 1500 degree high temp paint for my Z-28 and it holds up pretty good. I noticed you might be getting the vette mod (tailights), what else do you have planned. Did you check out that 2003 Altima paint I was tellin ya bout? I just bought my dubz this week and did a few other things, plus the new interior pics of the 86 Z-28 are up. Check out both sites when ya get a minute. You, whistler and a few other people on here are making hooking up camaros a real sport. And your opinion is highly valued.

Thanks guys. That was about 2 weeks of work on those parts. You guys wouldn't believe how greasy they get. As soon as I get back from Cali I will take better pictures of the engine bay.
