So I'm watching the Sopranos 5th season DVD the other night, and I come across a scene where Chris and one of Tony's thugs pull up to a house in a 4th gen (not sure if it's LT1 or V6) that's obviously had a paint job. The funny part was that it had IROC-Z stickers on the door. Call me trashy.. but I think it looked kind of cool. Not sure I would do it though. It's almost disrespctful to both the 4th gen cars and the IROCs at the same time.

 

It may look cool, depending on what else is done to the car........but I would never do it. It's one of those things that's neat to look at, but that you would never ever do to your own.

I don't remember where, but someone posted a picture of an orange 4th gen with iroc stickers on here before.

 

I have seen camaros with vtec stickers, so there is worse out there.

You guys havent seen the "Turvo V8" (now changed to Turbo after someone let the guy know about correct spelling) 6 Cylinder hand painted Yellow and Black 93-97 down in West Palm?

 

I could see that on a later model firebird because they did use them in the iroc races... but on that bodystyle i'd definately have to see it.

 

I remember one lady on CarDomain saying her 93 Camaro (LT1 style, mind you) was a 93 IrocZ Z28. She even had the title, and sure enough it DID say 93 IrocZ z28 on the title, but at the same time I've also heard stories about mechanics dealing with titles that say "Pontiac Camaro" too.

IROCs were 85-90 AFAIK. I wouldn't put Trans Am badges on a Firebird so I don't see why Iroc on 4th gens.

 

Don't do it man. Thats alot worse than putting SS emblems on a Z. And if you do decide to, we'll be forced to bash you like we do those Honda guys who put Type R stickers on their non Type R cars.
