Iroc Daytona Hood question

I have this hood on my car and I had a question about the 4 places on each side of the cowl. I have seen people put a mesh insert in these and was just wondering if anybody knew how it was done? Do you have to cut out the holes and insert the mesh that way? I love the way this looks when it's done right, but I don't want to try to do anything to my hood yet until I figure out how. Cuz it was a pretty expensive hood and I don't want to go cutting on it if I don't have to. I hope I explained well enough for somebody to make sense of it. lol. Thanks for any help.

Re: Iroc Daytona Hood question

You'd have to cut the holes out, you could do it with a dremel and make quick work of it. As far as the mesh goes, cut it to size and use fiberglass to hold it on. Paint the fiberglass black to blend in to the underside of the hood.
