interrior led

ive read the other posts but there arent that clear and i think if this thread is answered clearly at the beginning it can be a big help

for interrior lights there is
7, number 194 1 led (or 4) bulbs for gauge cluster "WLED 1-LED bulb"
5, number "74 Wedge Base LED bulb" for doors shifter and hvac
or is it the reverse?

what is the number and type for dome light?
review mirror?
reverse lights in a camaro?
brake lights?
dimmer switch?
ac controals?

Re: interrior led

door and HVAC are #74 not sure about the shifter! I have a manual so I have no idea! Messianation would know tho, I believe he changed the shifter light to an LED. 194 are the gauge cluster bulbs.

Check www.superbrightleds.com after you get your specs. They have direct fit replacements for a lot of automotive bulbs.

Re: interrior led

Woops, sorry didn't pay attention to this thread, didn't know my name was mentioned. For the shifter light, I did mine a little more indepth than just swapping the bulb for an LED. I think it'd work that way fine, but probably wouldn't be as bright. What I did was drill a hole in the white shifter assembly for each LED, then glued the LED in place making sure they were aimmed right and it worked great. Here's a writeup on my cardomain:

I just did mine with the 4 bulb LED's in the cluster, they fit just fine. You don't have to get them from Macwen either, I got mine off of Ebay for half the price and it's the exact same bulb. It looks great.

However, I would get the LED's that have 5 bulbs, where 1 bulb is in the middle and the other 4 bulbs are 1 at each corner. That way the light is more evenly spread and its a tad brighter. Helps a little with the "hot spot" issue as well.
