interior work

I have a 94 z28 with a beige interior and was wondering what kind of paint dye I should get to dye the interior to dark grey or black. There are some VHT brand paint dyes in the Summit catalog and I was wondering how well they worked. Also, is there a paint I could use to paint the interior panels the same color that wouldn't take away the texture. Thanks.

Dying the interior could get ugly real quick. I wouldnt attempt it. Year Ones paint for plastic panels shouldn't take away the texture on them. Just remember many light coats produce a better end result than a few heavier coats.

i would advise you not to paint your interior. Sure it looks cool for about a month or two. As soon as it start chipping and cracking you will regret it. Get a dash kit instead

honestly your best bet would be to start looking for complete interiors and switch them out, I had the tan interior in mine and was able to snag a graphite one complete for $350, this was seats, interior panels, carpet and all. If you buy a whole interior you can get a good deal.
To answer your question though, yes there are several paints out there that work fairly well, VHT I have not personally used, as a side note I have not seen any that withstood the test of time though, and it was something that had to be redone periodically
