interior problem

how do you keep the seatbelt from rubbing on the side of the headrest on TA seats? The edge of my seatbelt is starting to cut into the leather and wear it off. I spent a lot of money on these seats and don't want to see them ruined. Here is a pic of where the belt is sitting. Also, that is the proper placement of the seatbelt guide.

You could get those seatbelt cushions like the ricers and serious racers use and just put them higher up on the belt.

5 point harness? It's a little extreme, I know.

Can you not mount the guide on the actual seat instead of the headrest? I know it will lower the belt, so you will have to see if it would actually still protect you in a crash by going over your shoulder...

By now he already has two screw holes in his headrest so without taking the car back to the upholstery shop to have that panel replace, he's basically stuck with the guide where it is. Looks like the best thing you can do is put maybe a clear vinyl cover over your headrest, kinda like your grandmas slip-covers on her couch.

there is a support inside the headrest to support the seatbelt screws in a crash. Nothing in the seat could do that, plus it would look really wierd.
