Interior color change?

I currently have grey/graphite interior. I sorta hate it. I like tan interior on dark red cars. I have a 95 camaro and would like to know where (websites?) i could find all the interior pieces and carpet and dash parts and all that. I want to make my interior Tan. Thanks guys

PS Has anyone done this before? pics?

Exclamation

My convertible interior is tan from the factory...but they actually use 2 tone. I don't have pics available yet...but the deal is..the dash is still the grey color. The armrests and half the panels on the door are also grey. The middle console...grey again. The seats, carper, kick panels, and side panels are tan. Trunk...grey again. www.leatherseats.com has the stuff to do the panels and seats. The carpet probably isn't that hard to find. As far as the panels that you want to change out...I'd try junk yards. MOST importantly, unless you can find new panels...try to find them all out of the same car. Every car's panels fade differently over time...for instance, whoever owned my car before me wasn't the cleanest person in the world...and no matter what I do...my panels are just darker than normal. I've cleaned them 100 times over. My carpet...darker. And I've cleaned the hell out of my carpet. I MAY be able to get it steam cleaned and fix that problem though. I'm probably in the same boat as you, though. I'm about to recover my seats and look for new carpet. I figure at the same time I'll scour some junk yards and look for some new panels as well. Just my $.02

Try www.f-bodycarpets.com for the carpet, they make real high quality stuff.

www.Leatherseats.com is a good source for the seat covers.

Salvage yards for everything are...

Well, there are two types of seatcovers, permanent and temporary.

The fabric or leather cover that is over the foam of the original seat is what you would call a "permanent" cover. Anything you buy at a Wal-Mart etc... is something that goes just slides over your existing seat. Kinda like a mask.

A permanent cover replaces the factory cover. You remove the factory cover and install another one. It attaches via "hogrings" and utilizes small steel rods that are embedded in the foam of your seat.

So it really comes down to, do you want a "mask" or "replacement" seat cover.

Hope I didn't confuse you, lemme know if I need to clear it up.

I put custom black and red leather from www.leatherseats.com I changed my interior from tan to black. I have the original seat covers from my tan interior. If you want i can sell them for you. $125+shipping for front and back seatcovers. They are cloth and cheaper then the leather. Let me know, I also have some pics of my old tan interior if you want to see them. by the way the seat covers are the 30th anniversry ones with the embroidery.
