Re: installed z06 seats in my z28

are they manual or electric?

any work to get electronics... and how hard was it to "fab" the brackets on. Any major cutting? Any welding?

edit:damn doubt I will be doing it, they make trans am seats look cheap.

I'm putting in a request for a picture/description of how you made the brackets? Just a little bit of drilling new mounting holes or what?

Looks good, I just might have to do that with some C5 seats. Or look into the C6 seats.

Re: installed z06 seats in my z28

If you dont mind my asking, how much did this set you back when everything was said and done? Reason for my inquiry is that YES, it would seem cool to have vette/Z06 seats in an Fbody. But im willing to bet for the same price or less, a good pair of leather racing seats, Recaro or Corbeau, adjustable of course would be the better bet. I just dont think that vette seats are THAT great.....and I know because I drive an 01 C5 coupe regularly. Anyway, just thought I'd put in my .02

Do the vette seat fold forward? If not that would be another argument besides the price that would make me look elsewhere
