Theres no one in my town that can even sew carpet if i purchased the carpet for a hard top and modified it in the back part. Im still waiting for a reply from www.f-bodyjunk.com to see if they have any.

Can anyone help me out here? New or used, i just want carpet that fits...

 

hardtop carpet should fit perfectly fine as far as I've heard. I have a friend that put lt1 carpet from a hardtop into his lt1 convertible with no problem at all.. no modifying it at all from what I remember.

 

Do you have any pictures? What does it look like in the trunk area?

 

Sorry don't have any pictures of the carpet out. From what he said, hard tops are of course like.. carpet everywhere. convertibles have a few blank spots in the trunk area where the actual top comes down. He swapped carpet with a hardtop, sent his convertible carpet to the hardtop guy and the hardtop guy sent him his carpet and he had no problem putting the hard top's carpet in his car, the hard top guy has two spots from the convertible carpet that doesn't cover his trunk entirely. So, from what I hear atleast, you should be ok with hard top, you might need to trim it in a few spots but I don't think my friend did that...

 

Anyone else know where i can find some? Anyone here have carpet for sale?
