The 1993-1997 Body Style was the winner.

This week, what color.

I narrowed it down to ten basic colors that I thought would be most popular base on what I have seen/read here over the past 4 years. I included the terms "A shade of" because there are so many different Colors of a color, that it would be impossible to list them all.

If we can get a basic color down, then we will be able to start visualizing it anyhow.

If there are enough "write in" votes for a color not listed, then it will be considered just like the rest of them. If you are voting for "Other", then please list the color.

Note: If everyone picks a different color, then we are gonna have a vote of 3 for one color and it will win. So, try and pick one of the colors listed, or try and find one that at least one other person (out of the first, say, 5 different) has listed.

This is for the base body color only. Flames, Stripes, etc. will be voted on later. This is a systematic process...that will be dragged out over the next few months, so just vote as the topics come up.

And, Help me keep these to the top by randomly posting your opinion etc. if you see it falling down. Brent stickied the last one for me, but as soon as he did it stopped getting votes. (People tend to just start looking past the stickies). Thanks guys.

I voted for "a shade of orange." I've always been a big fan of both hugger orange and SOM. Interesting threads I must say

 

i gotta say black, there's nothing like a shining black car...

 

you gotta have orange. hugger or SOM, orange doesn't look as good on many cars as it does on the Camaro! truly gives these cars a summer look too. black is a great alterative, but hugger/SOM turns more heads and is rarer than black.

 

Id love an orangish red color. orange does look good on our carz

I would say a neutral or dark color, something modern, Black, white, NBM all look good..they add that modern yet not too flashy look. Plus you dont want things to clash like stripes if there are to be any, or rims etc. Orange is out of date i think, what cars do you see orange other then ricers? Not many if any. Orange just doest go IMO, I personally think the best color is NBM its dark, yet an eye appealing hue. Black is also good, a nice down to business color that can mean kick ***..yet it will blend in body lines and that can go against what we want. Red just looks cheap. White is a little too bright however. Orange looks boy ricer, yellow the same.

 

Had to vote for black.

 

I disagree...neither a SOM LS1 or a millenium yellow vette look anywhere near "boy ricer." Plus yellow is an option on a lot of different cars, so I don't see how the color makes it "ricey" or not. Neon orange and green? Yes.

I agree with you also though...black is the color of *** kicking

 

Black, DEFINETALLY, or tied with that, Red, if the top and mirrors are black, although red definetally looks classy with them still staying black
