I want to put my painted wheels in chrome

I have 17 in. 2002 silver painted SS wheels and I want them done "dipped" in chrome, I have no idea what type of shop can do this? Is this just something id have to look for local here, like a custom shop of some sort or does anyone have any ideas

i was looking to do this awhile back............i never found any local places that do it here in chicago, but i went online and found a couple of places where you can ship them the wheels and they'll do it. I think the cheapest i found was 10.00 per inch so 170 per wheel plus shipping....they'll ship it back for free.

I just read this post. So does anyone have any experience getting their rims chromed, and if so, what are the names of these shops? I've been looking to get my wheels chromed after the tire shop banged mine up .
