try www.rksport.com , they sell stuff for the sunfire.
I would avoid a spoiler at ALL costs. It's a front wheel drive car.
I would get some 18 inch rims first, and lower it.
Definately get a Cold Air Intake and exhaust, because these are cheap mods. I wouldn't mod it any further than that, until you have $$ for a Turbo Kit or Nitrous setup.

Um, she did say she wanted to make it faster. You suggest adding huge 18" rims, probably 3 sizes bigger than stock. The Sunfire will use too much of the already lacking power just turning those monsters.

Black car, white rims, all I can see is rice rice rice. Go ahead man, give her more advice......

So then you admit then that there are 18's which weigh less than 17's and what you said before made no sense at all right ? ?
wrong site man, you need this 1 www.nopi.com

and Artic I think your agression stems from previous repressed
emotions about pu12en12g. I think you guys should go have a cup of tea and sort things out, that way we can put the childish arguing and name calling to an end
BTW Sunfirecutie21
I would say go for the 18's I'm getting that you wanna make your car quick not a 10 second monster and if you put a huge turbo on it....MARRY ME!
I know bigger rims are gonna slow anyone down but she isn't exactly going for the fastest sunfire ever and one inch bigger all the way around isn't gonna make that much of a difference
I'm not trying to **** anyone off here by no means, but, just trying to prove my point. She's more than likely trying to make a good all around sports car.

PS: TEA IS GOOD! try it
(especially sweet tea)

If you want to be faster, get a CAI and a header, dont' put a fart cannon on there or you will suffer the wrath of people who actually know whats going on. Dont' expect a ton of performance out of a sunfire, it's a family car for gods-sake.

First of all... AVOID RKSPORT.COM unless you want to be ripped off.
The point is that without a major investment, a sunfire simply isn't going to be "fast"...
"Faster"... yes... but "fast" no...
The good news is that your car is relatively light, which means it is pretty cheap and easy to make it "feel" fast. So get rid of that wheel gap with some lightweight 18's.. lower it, and unless you have about $5,000 to play with for the engine, concentrate on "BANG FOR THE BUCK" MODS:
- Cold Air Intake
- Exhaust
- Weight reduction
- Higher Octane Fuel (yes you can feel the difference)
- Upgraded fuel system 55-60psi (get a fuel pump from one of the following, it will be a direct fit):
'92-'95 S-10 Blazer with a Vortec 4.3 VIN:W
'97 C-1500 Chevy Pickup with a 4.3 Vortec VIN:W, a 5.0, or a 5.7
- Adjustable fuel pressure regulator (www.summitracing.com or www.jegs.com)
To actually make it "fast" you will want:
- Headers
- Underdrive pulleys
- Supercharger 6 psi ($2,800)
- Dyno Tuning
- Computer Reprogram (requires high octane fuel all the time)
- Extreme Weight Reduction

ArticY95TA man your pissin me off and you arent even talking to me.
It was out of line to call him a ricer just because he didnt agree with you.
Not to mention i love his car. Its very tastefully done. And the white rims on black with those blue calipers looks pretty damn sharp.
Not to mention he could probably give you a run for your money(not sure of your mods)
Either way your out of line.
As for sunfire chick. pu12eng12 is right its really never going to be that fast. So you might as well just stick to making it look better, rims, GFX, cai, exhaust.
I wouldnt really soak that much money into the car. No offense.

Sunfirecutie, welcome to the board. Please don't judge the whole board based on the comments of a few. It's good to keep an open mind to new ideas and respect everyone's taste for modifying their cars.
Have you visited www.j-body.org ? Good luck with the sunfire.

P.S. Be on the lookout for the notorious CZ28 leghumpers. They run rampant in the lounge.
