My car is at body man's shop getting the front bumper repainted this weekend and he was wondering if i wanted it painted flat black back in the headlight area. I told him i would try to get a pic of one painted gloss black so i can see what i think. The reason i am asking is he pulled the front bumper off to paint it and so we want to get it done the way we want before it goes back on. I have seen red and white cars that weren't painted black in the headlight areas and i didn't really like it. I have never seen a black car that was left gloss. Any one have a pic.

 

I factory ordered mine with the body color headlight pockets. Never cared for the flat black look.

FWIW the entire front end needed repair/repaint a few years back after a winter related mishap.

it use to be teal and i painted it black !
headlight and grill area is the same as the rest of the car (gloss black)

 

I had mine repainted gloss black looks really nice go for it
