Mine is covered with chips. I drive on the freeway a few miles everyday and my cars front end looks worse and worse month after month. I think it might have gotten painted before I bought it cause it got in a minor accident and got the drivers side fender repainted and I think the front bumper too, its hard to tell though.

I want to get it repainted or get a bra, I really dont want to get a bra for the car, i think it ruins the look. But I dont want to get it repainted and have it chip like crazy again.

My last camaro, ran on the same roads, never has this problem.

Any here have problems with rock chips?? I mean, my front end is just littered with marks, could this be from a crappy paintjob?? Or does it happen to everyone.

 

well if it looks like crap with all the chips and you dont have the money to paint it the easy way out of it is to cover it up with a bra they only run 100 bucks i have 1 on my car it looks ok

 

I would with the cover, they range from about 60 bucks for the Le BRa version to about 100 bucks for the covercraft front end mask. If you look around you can get one of the better covers for about 75 bucks. I dont like the look myself but protects the paint or covers the chips.

 

i dont think paint should chip like that even from rocks....usually they will just leave scraps. the guy might not of preped it right. or maybe he didnt use a primer that would work for rubber bumpers. my brothers monte carlo SS bumper paint pealed off everywhere after a few chips because the primer wasn't flexible. try to wax it alot once u get it painted. but make sure to wait the recomended time.
