I just did the LT1 taillight conversion
I just finished putting LT1 taillights on my 98 Z28. It took about an hour and a half off and on, plus I also had to take out my speaker box in the rear, and I took out my rear 2 speakers also while I was at it for weight reduction. So I'd say you could do it within an hour easy. The lights work just fine, all I had to do was unscrew my old ones, switch the bulbs, and screw the new ones back in, no changing of electrical wires or anything. It was that simple. I'm posting pics right now so check out my webshots they should be up within the hour. I got the lights off of ebay for $45 shipped to my door.

MistaCamawo your car looks sweet man. The LT1 tailights look way better I think especially on a red camaro. Now you need to swap out the fronts for clear corners and get rid of all the amber.
BTW I like your wheels

I did the same this LT1 lights on my '01. Then I rewired to the LT1 style with the turn signal and brake are the same and made all the lights light on brake and did the sequential turn signal. It's alot better IMHO.

Why the LT1 lights?
I always wondered why Chevy went from red/white/orange in 92 to red/white in 93, and then back over again in 98 (maybe it had to do with laws... then again, the 1993 Cobra had orange as well...which looks sweet as hell in my opinion. I was about to buy a 93 GT, and was looking for Cobra taillights at the same time).
