How's about this for an interior color scheme?
Okay, I am gonna do my interior and this is what I was thinking of doing...
I have the stock charcoal interior (and black exterior, if it matters).
Thinking of taking the usual parts that pop-off and can be painted (vent bezels, intrument cluster trim ring, radio bezel, console, etc...) and sanding them smooth and painting them a gloss black.
Then I will add a set of MacEwen silver guages as well as MBA silver shift ****, pedals and dash trim and *****. To top it off, I'll add a silver faced fuel pressure gauge and maybe oil pressure guage as well. Something like that.
So, we are talking semi-flat black (charcoal) with gloss black trim and silver (aluminum) accents.
You guys think this will work out well?

I am ordering the trim pieces I will be painting from a friend who works at a salvage yard. If I mess them up, I can at least leave the interior stock.
Gotta order the MacEwen stuff, and I already have the MBA stuff.

I already have this sort of thing started under the hood with the MBA pieces. I gotta find someone who sells pre-cut FRCs...
The sanded smooth with gloss black looks very clean - and I am sure you will take your time painting, so it will look excellent. That is the cleanest color combo you can come up with, so you can't go wrong with it. Black/Red, Black/Blue, Black/Yellow, etc...all those look kind of "cheap" IMO. Good luck - and take your time with it, it will look much better if you do.

You can't go wrong with black, i personally would try to get all black faced gauges and keep the stock but it you can't you can't,what's most important is that they all match, I wouldn't get pedal covers, i think that another one of those ricer fads, and the pedals are one of the uglist things on the interior, why would you want to highlight them unless you had a rice mobil? So i would probably just do the painting, get black gauges and get the shift ****.

A guy I know just bought an '02 GT, white with grey leather. I know this doesn't sound specific enough, but he bought these two white metal pieces to replace the gray ones on each door where the power window and lock buttons are, it's the piece that they're on. He also bought a white metal piece for the center console that goes around the radio. It looks really cool and clean too.
Do you know if there's a company that makes aftermarket interior panels (if that's what they're called) for our cars? I would hate to paint mine and mess it up.
