How to remove head rest covers on a 99 TA?

How do I go about removing the headrest covers on a 99 TA?

It looks simple, but it also looks like I need to pull the entire head rest out of the seat or something. I hope this is the right forum to post this in.

It looks like someone has tried to remove one of them, but the driver's side looks like it is still snapped in.

Hope someone can let me know. Thanks!

Well, I don't know how much this will help, but on my Toyota, to remove the headrest from the seat, you just hold the button in on the side and pull it straight out. But removing the upholstery? I have no clue, I wish I knew. I want to put the padding on the other way around to make the headrest more comfortable for me. As it is, the top setting hits me in the middle of my head, and it hurts. I just wasn't cut out to be a small Japanese man I guess like this car was made for.
