How to remove ground effects?

I have a Wings West kit on my Camaro, but I want to take them off and go back to the stock look.

They are held on by screws in the corners (easy), and 3M double sided tape everywhere else (not so easy). Also, the kit is painted red....I imagine that during the removal process a lot of the paint will crack off. What's the best way to minimize this, since I am going to sell the kit?

Warm the adhesive with a heat gun. And take your time. Shoud be able to remove the FX, with very little damage if any. Then use solvent ont the remaining glue.
