How polish under hood?

I was wondering if there is any special way to polish my intake without having to take it out. It really needs to be cleaned up but I don't want to make it any worse. Obviously I have an lt1. Thanks!

Get some soft terry cloths, and some MAAS polish! I used some on my friend's LT1, and in like 2 minutes it made a HUGE difference!

I use it but I also like the Eagle One Never-Dull. It comes in wads and its great to use on your wheels and the exhaust pipes. Works great so far on any metal I have used it on, plus you can use it inside your house on metal parts in there too.,

Neverdull etc.. is not going to effectively "polish" your intake. Real polishing is resurfacing the intake.

agreed, but he just asked how to polish it so I suggested a polish to use. it would be more effective if he resurfaced it and then polished it or chromed it.

When I actually have it off the car when I do the heads and cam I will take it to work and blast it then polish it all there very carefully. I mainly care about cleaning the grime off it for now. I have used never-dull, good stuff! I am on my way to Advance right now for oil change stuff so I will see what they have there. Thanks guys!
